September Volunteer Opportunities for Teens!

-        Volunteers will assist with handing out groceries and managing thrift store (Contact name on site, Efrain Evertz, Jose Sanchez) volunteers please arrive before 8:30.   Call Efrain  ( 201 951 2131

• Community Service Event. Food Drive Organized by Dvine Konektion, CDC- 611-56^th Street, West New York on September 15th  from  9:00am-3:00pm              *( Separate prep nights September 11,12,13 call for times)

-        Volunteers will assist with handing out hot meals, groceries and baby supplies

-         

-        Hudson Partnership will mail Certificates of Attendance for Teens that would like to submit them for community service hours

-        Prep night will consist of moving furniture, preparing church, organizing grocery bags

-        Volunteers will assist with handing out groceries and various other tasks

• Community Service at the Historic Harsimus Cemetery Saturdays  from 10:00am-12:00pm( 435 Newark Ave. Jersey City)

-Kids and family members are welcome to come and learn about the historic site

-Participants will help with the maintenance of the cemetery as a group

-Teens can earn community service hours

• Coalition Youth Task Force meeting held at Partners-In-Prevention, The Hudson County Coalition for a Drug-Free Community. September 29th at 4:30. Location:

Youth will be around other Teens that are actively involved in helping the community.
